Try Orange Dhōs For Mules and Margs

Dhōs Spirits makes three different zero-proof flavors of their product. I tried their Orange flavor which I used like an orange liqueur or triple sec. It has a delicious, concentrated flavor on its own but I wouldn’t recommend sipping it solo. If anything, adding some sparkling water would make for a fun and easy citrus drink. I recommend it in a Ginger Mule or a Blood Orange Margarita! Buy a bottle here.

Zero-Proof Ginger Mule

Virgin Blood Orange Margarita

Ingredients:

  • Salt for glass rim
  • Ice cubes
  • Juice of 2 blood oranges
  • Juice of 2 limes
  • 2 oz. Dhōs Orange
  • Blood orange and lime for garnish

Ghia is the Perfect Aperitif for Both Sweet & Savory Drinks

Ghia blew my mind when I tried it. Floral, herbal, and bitterly fruity, the flavor profile of Ghia is intriguing, unique, and delicious. It is the perfect zero-proof aperitif. I love Ghia in a sparkling cranberry mocktail as well as on its own – just chill or add ice! Make it savory with Castelvetrano olives and black pepper (think Virgin Bloody Mary but floral). Try Töst for a Refreshing Sparkling Wine Alternative

TOST sparkling white tea

No instructions needed – Töst is ready to drink the instant you crack one open! Super fizzy and aromatic, opening a bottle is just as fun as drinking it. The sparkling white tea is flavored with cranberry and ginger and the aroma just washes over you when you pop the cap. The smell is so enticing and the taste does not disappoint!

Slightly sweet but not overpowering, this stuff is so refreshing and festive. I loved having mine on weekend mornings for an alcohol-free “brunch”. Töst is the perfect zero-proof alternative for a mimosa! It would also do well with sushi, with a celebratory dessert, and pizza. If you’re feeling really fancy, try this as a caviar pairing in place of Champagne. Next time you want to pop a bottle of sparkling but don’t want alcohol, try Töst. Buy a bottle here.

This post will be a bit of a living document that I’ll add to and update as I discover awesome alcohol alternatives so that anytime you have a need for some sober-living inspiration you’ll have plenty of ideas. Let me know in the comments what you drink during Dry January!
